David Coleman, DDS

Orthodontist

Dr. Coleman was born and raised in Kansas and received his dental degree from Columbia University College of Dental Medicine in New York. After dental school, he served for 4 years in the Air Force as a commissioned officer, working as a general dentist, dental lab director, and officer in charge of mass casualty response training. While in the Air Force, Dr. Coleman earned the rank of Captain, received the Air Force Commendation Medal, and was given the honor of being named Company Grade Officer of the Year for the medical group at Joint Base McGuire-Dix-Lakehurst, NJ. Following his military service, he went on to earn his Certificate in Orthodontics and Dentofacial Orthopedics from NYU Langone Dental Medicine.

Dr. Coleman enjoys working with patients of all ages and is highly experienced in providing child, adolescent, and adult orthodontic treatment with braces and Invisalign. He continually seeks to expand his skillset with continuing education courses, including the Aligner Intensive Fellowship, a rigorous course focusing on clear aligner treatment.

Sarunphorn Rasamimari, DMD
AKA "Dr. Sara"

Board Certified Pediatric Dentist

Dr. Sarunphorn Rasamimari, “Dr. Sara”, grew up in Bangkok, Thailand where her passion for pediatric dentistry started with her own childhood dentist. Inspired by seeing how fun and compassionate she was, Dr. Sara knew that this was her calling. Dr. Sara wants to ensure that all of her kids will grow up to love the dentist as much as she does by making sure that each appointment is not only educational for the parents and patients, but also very enjoyable while providing the best of care. Her goal through education is to teach lifelong habits that her patients will be able to take forward into adulthood.

Dr. Sara graduated from Indiana University with a Bachelor of Science in Public Health and a minor in Psychology and Chemistry. Right after IU, she pursued her Doctor of Medicine in Dentistry (DMD) degree at Midwestern University in Downers Grove, IL. Upon completion of her doctorate in dental medicine at the top of her class, Dr. Sara was accepted to NYU for her pediatric dental residency. She was so excited for the opportunity to live in the Big Apple! During residency she had opportunities to help kids in Manhattan, Upstate New York, and abroad in Ecuador. Her passion in prevention and minimally invasive dentistry was recognized when she was published in the prestigious Journal of American Dental Association on the use of Silver Diamine Fluoride.

When Dr. Sara is out of the office, she enjoys yoga and running outside or even taking long walks to different neighborhoods in the city.

Rachel Rhee, DMD

Board Certified Pediatric Dentist

Dr. Rachel grew up in Baltimore, Maryland, and completed her undergraduate degree in biology at Brown University. She earned her doctorate in dental medicine at University of Pennsylvania, graduating with honors in care of the medically complex, honors in community oral health, and accolades in research.

After dental school, she was elected chief resident in the general practice residency program at NYP- Weill Cornell Medicine. During her two-year general residency, she received specialized training in dental treatment of oncology patients while on her rotation at Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center.

Following her general residency, she was elected chief resident in the pediatric dentistry residency program at Montefiore Medical Center- Albert Einstein College of Medicine, where she received her specialty certificate in pediatric dentistry. During her two-year pediatric residency, she rotated at Rose F. Kennedy Center, a special care dentistry clinic, took call in the emergency department at the Children’s Hospital at Montefiore, and trained in completing dental treatment under sedation and general anesthesia.

Dr. Rachel decided at the age of 7 that she wanted to be a dentist! She was inspired by her childhood dentist’s ability to create fun and educational dental visits, and she strives to create the same positive, enjoyable, and informative experience for every child that walks into her office. She tailors each dental visit to a specific child and family’s unique needs, and her gentle demeanor and transparency will instantly make you and your child feel at home. Preventative and minimally-invasive dentistry are her preferred treatment modalities. She is certified as a Diplomate through the American Board of Pediatric Dentistry.

Dr. Rachel resides in Gramercy with her husband. Outside of the office, you can find her trying every pizza place in New York City, zipping down a ski slope, or hitting the links. She is also an accomplished violinist and speaks conversational French and Korean.

Phong Ta, DDS

Board Certified Dental Anesthesiologist

Dr. Phong Ta specializes in delivering anesthesia for dentistry and is a Board Certified Dentist Anesthesiologist with extensive anesthesia training from Mount Sinai Hospital in New York City. While at that institution he was trained to provide the full spectrum of anesthesia from mild sedation to complete general anesthesia for a wide range of procedures and patients. As part of his training Dr. Ta maintains active certification in Basic Cardiac Life Support (BCLS), Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS), and Pediatric Advanced Life support (PALS).

During his career he has worked with dentists throughout the New York Metropolitan area and has treated thousands of patients, both pediatric and adult, in the dental office setting. Mobile dental anesthesia is a unique combination of medicine and dentistry that Dr. Ta has honed his skills in over the years, and he is proud to be a specialist who can offer these services for patients in and around the New York City area.

Prior to his time at Mount Sinai Hospital, he competed a general practice residency at the Veterans Affairs Palo Alto Healthcare System in California in association with Stanford University. As a magna cum laude graduate of the University of Maryland’s Baltimore College of Dental Surgery, Dr. Ta was in the top 10% of his class and was awarded his Doctor of Dental Surgery degree with distinctions from multiple departments.

Billy Buchbinder, DMD, MDS

Orthodontist

Dr. Billy Buchbinder is an avid tennis (and now pickleball) player, a passionate guitarist, a baking and coffee enthusiast, and a North Jersey native who truly believes that smiles changes lives!

He received his Doctor of Dental Medicine (DMD) at The University of Pennsylvania, School of Dental Medicine graduating with Honors in Community Oral Health and achieving the Penn Dental Medicine Oral Pathology Award. He then attended a 3-year clinical residency in
Orthodontics and Dentofacial Orthopedics at Rutgers University where he received his specialty certificate in orthodontics and Master’s degree in Dental Science (MDS).

Prior to his dental training, he grew up in Scotch Plains, NJ, attended The Wardlaw Hartridge School, and completed his undergraduate education at The College of New Jersey where he majored in Chemistry, graduated Magna Cum Laude, and was inducted into the Phi Beta Kappa Honors Society as a junior.

Dr. Buchbinder loves working with children and adults alike and possesses an inherent
enthusiasm for his profession and a commitment to his patients. Coming from a family of pediatric dentists, he is proficient in dentofacial development and highly experienced working with young patients. He also enjoys working with adults and is an expert with the Invisalign
system as well as with clear braces treatment.

Simon Roytberg, DDS​

General Dentist​

Dr. Roytberg is a graduate of University of Washington dental school, one of the best in the country. He has been a dentist for years and has been through several post graduate courses in different fields of dentistry since receiving his D.D.S. degree.

His emphasis on patient comfort as well as keeping up-to-date with the latest advancements in dentistry enable him to provide his patients with the best quality of care in the field. Dr. Roytberg has a wide range of experience in different areas of dentistry, from cosmetic and restorative dentistry to surgical treatments and root canal treatments.

His approach to your treatment starts with patiently listening to you. Then, after a complete and thorough examination, he reviews and discusses the diagnosis and treatment options with you.

Dr. Simon Roytberg

Vitaliy Fabrikant, DMD

General Dentist

Dr. Fabrikant graduated from Temple University School of Dentistry in 1997 and went on to complete an additional year of general practice residency at prestigious Eastman Dental Center, Rochester, NY.

Dr. Fabrikant has a conservative approach to dentistry, trying to save and restore natural dentition and reserving to extractions and subsequent implants only whenever is absolutely necessary. Dr. Fabrikant had an additional training in adult orthodontic “Invisalign” and widely incorporates this knowledge into treatment plans.

Dr. Fabrikant has been in private practice since 1999. He has completed hundreds of hours of continuing education seminars and courses. Pursuing a strong interest in endodontics, implantology, and cosmetic dentistry.

Dr. Fabrikant has experience in routine restorative services, crown and bridge as well as Root Canal treatments. He can perform endodontic therapy on multi-rooted teeth utilizing rotary Ni-Ti files which significantly reduces amount of time for Root canal therapy procedures.

Jovanka Zivkovic, DDS

General Dentist - Cosmetic Specialist

After receiving her degree from school for dental technicians in Belgrade with high honors Dr. Zivkovic attended School of Dental Medicine Pancevo, Serbia. As a top of the class graduate Dr. Zivkovic furthered her dental expertise and honed skills in a postgraduate residency program at the National Health Center in Serbia. Dr. Zivkovic received her MBA at Union University and continued her education in general dentistry in the Netherlands. Dr. Zivkovic completed her advanced program at Columbia University in New York and received training in Implantology, Endodontics, Oral Surgery, IV Sedation and Prosthodontics. For several years Dr. Zivkovic worked alongside top dentists in New York City.

Dr. Zivkovic is very committed to delivering the most up-to-date treatment to all her patients and is always on the forefront of continuing education, new treatment modalities and technology. She has trained with some of the nation’s most forward-thinking dentists in smile design and functional occlusion as well as cosmetics orthodontics ( Invisalign ). She understands that each person has a unique personality and specific dental needs and treats each patient as such. For this reason Dr. Zivkovic makes her top priority to comfort her patients and put them at ease before beginning even the simplest procedure.

Michael Chau, DMD

Board Certified Periodontist

Dr. Chau was born and raised in New Jersey and received his Doctorate degree from UMDNJ – New Jersey Dental School. After completing two hospital residencies and working in private practice for several years, he continued his training in the specialty of Periodontics at New York University, where he received the Clinician of the Year Award. Dr. Chau is recognized as a Board-Certified Periodontist by the American Board of Periodontology and is licensed to practice in New York and New Jersey.

Having been immersed in the educational setting for several years, Dr. Chau holds much respect for his past mentors and educators. He enjoys teaching and currently is a hospital attending and lecturer for dental residents at Lincoln Medical Center in the Bronx. He lives with his wife and baby daughter in Manhattan. He enjoys snowboarding, modern art, and is always on the lookout for new restaurants and cuisines to try out.

Ryan Trulby, DDS, MS

Board Eligible Orthodontist

Dr. Ryan Trulby was born in Manhattan, raised just across the George Washington Bridge in Bergen County, New Jersey, and lives in Upper West Side. After graduating from Rutgers University, Dr. Trulby received his dental degree at Columbia University College of Dental Medicine, where he graduated number one in his class. During his time at Columbia, Dr. Trulby received several awards including the Alpha Omega Highest Academic Achievement Award, the Abraham and Martha Barnett Scholarship, and the Dean’s Scholar Award and Scholarship. 

Following his graduation from dental school, Dr. Trulby completed a 3 year postgraduate orthodontics residency at Columbia University as well, becoming highly experienced in providing child, adolescent, and adult orthodontic treatment with braces and Invisalign. He is also highly motivated to continue improving his clinical acumen and has taken multiple continuing education courses including the Aligner Intensive Fellowship, a rigorous 17 week course covering advanced child, adolescent, and adult Invisalign treatment.

Roxanna Khajavi, DMD

Board Certified Pediatric Dentist

Dr. Roxanna Khajavi (known as Dr. Roxy by her patients) grew up in Southern California. She attended UCLA for her undergraduate degree and studied biology. A couple years later, she moved to Boston to attend Tufts University School of Dental Medicine. Following dental school, she went on to complete both her General Practice and Pediatrics residencies at Maimonides Medical Center, where she served as Chief Resident in her last year.

Dr. Roxy is devoted to staying up to date on the latest information and technology in pediatric dentistry. She believes communication is one of the most important aspects of her practice and will take the time to explain all treatment options in depth with each family. She loves working with her young patients and is looking forward to bringing happy and healthy smiles to the community. In her spare time she loves to bake, do yoga, and garden.

Firas Marsheh, DDS

Endodontist

Dr. Marsheh earned his first Dental Degree from overseas, and practiced in underserved areas for 2 years focusing on Endodontic treatment before he moved to the United States. He received his Doctorate of Dental Surgery from New York University College of Dentistry, and earned his specialty degree in Endodontics in 2009 from Lutheran Medical Center in Brooklyn, NY.

Dr. Marsheh practiced General Dentistry for 1 year before entering the Endodontic Program to experience complete patient care. He has provided endodontic therapy to many patients. While completing his specialty training, Dr. Marsheh conducted research at New York University focusing on “Anxiety toward Endodontic Treatment”.

Dr. Marsheh’s philosophy for his practice is:
“To reduce the anxiety and stress that accompany an Endodontic Treatment experience, to provide each individual patient with care, comfort and knowledge prior to treatment. To treat and give each patient the optimal results in a short amount of time.”

John Nosti, DMD, FAGD, FACE, FICOI

Advanced Cosmetic & Rehabilitative Dentistry

Dr. Nosti graduated from the University of Medicine and Dentistry-New Jersey Dental School. He went on to complete a General Practice Residency at Lehigh Valley Hospital in Allentown, PA, a subsidiary of the University of Penn. Medical School.

Dr. Nosti has gone on to complete an extensive post-graduate education in Cosmetic Dentistry, Reconstruction Dentistry, Temporomandibular Joint Dysfunction (TMJ) and Occlusion (bite relationships). He started teaching as a Clinical Instructor with
The Hornbrook Group, and is now the Clinical Director of Education for The Clinical Mastery Series where he teaches dentists all over the world on how to diagnose and perform complex reconstructive and cosmetic dentistry.

Dr. Nosti has authored and is featured in numerous instructional DVD series for dentists. His expertise has allowed him to become an adjunct faculty member at the esteemed Arizona School of Dentistry and Oral Health. He serves on the editorial boards of numerous dental publications, and has been published in many journals including the prestigious Journal of the American Academy of Cosmetic Dentistry. He is also a key opinion leader for Ivoclar Dental Products.

Dr. Nosti was selected as a “Top Dentist in New Jersey” by his peers and in the New Jersey Monthly magazine in 2011, 2012, 2013, and 2014. In addition, examples of Dr. Nosti’s cosmetic dentistry are used by the American Dental Association in the association’s pamphlets, booklets, and websites for use by dentists all over the world, to show patients what is possible with veneers and crowns (cosmetic dentistry). Dr. Nosti is among the few dentists in Manhattan who hold Fellowships in the Academy of Comprehensive Esthetics (Cosmetic Dentistry), the Academy of General Dentistry (FAGD), and the International Congress of Oral Implantologists (FICOI).

Jinnan Zhou

Registered Dental Hygienist

Jin was born and raised in China, a Registered Dental Hygienist from NYU College of Dentistry. She speaks Korean, English and Chinese. When she is not at work, Jin can be found at a yoga class. She calls herself as a yogi in the world of dentistry. Jin is an expert in periodontal preventive care, teaching patients about prevention of disease and establishing long lasting relationship is her life’s goal.
